Launched just one year ago, Cocotte offers themed food tours that combine nature, gastronomy and culture in an independent way. How does it work? No guide or compulsory tour, but a food tour designed to leave participants free. Thanks to the Cocotte application, the group can ride a bike, walk or even drive if they wish, it doesn’t matter, and let themselves be guided by the stories and tastings planned.

Each tour is punctuated by audio and written anecdotes, forgotten stories, varying the interests of all: history, nature, gastronomy, architecture…

What are the targets?

This project is aimed at the general public from the Hauts-de-France, the Paris region and nearby Belgium.

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

Cocotte Food Tour contributes to the influence of gastronomy in the Hauts-de-France region by promoting the creation of digital content and communication that honors the know-how of artisans, restaurateurs, producers and local products.

We propose a new way of consuming gastronomy, more sustainable and responsible.

In a “slow tourism” approach, Cocotte favors the art of traveling while taking one’s time, fully immersing oneself in the nature that surrounds us and in the richness of our heritage. It is to encourage encounters, to savor the pleasures of the table, with the concern of the respect of the territory and its inhabitants.
