Creating a better life on dairy farms is the mission of our collective. We are dairy farmers, and since 2017 we process part of our milk ourselves, to secure our income and offer a range of yogurts, cottage cheese and tasty fresh milk, directly from our farms. Based in the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale, we want to preserve our meadows, graze our herds and participate in the preservation of a precious ecosystem while maximizing the well-being of our animals. With the know-how we have acquired over the years, the taste of our dairy products is recognized and we want to recreate a precious link between consumers and us farmers. We are building a new manufacturing workshop for 2023 to extend our range of dairy products for our customers, and to further secure the future of our farms.

What are the targets?

Consumers

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

Eating is obviously also producing. For us it was key to bring together producers and consumers. By listening to the concerns of consumers in search of traceability, goodness and more naturalness, we have created a range of dairy products made with whole milk from our farms, with choices of gourmet ingredients from French SMEs, packaged in recyclable cardboard jars and glass bottles to reduce the waste generated by their consumption. Through the tasting of our products, it is not only the taste of a real dessert which is found but it is also a territory which is preserved. Our brand “Lait Prairies du Boulonnais”, is the reflection of a strong ambition shared with our customers and consumers to preserve our meadows in order to participate in the fight against climate change (biodiversity, carbon capture, herd feeding). To create a sustainable and responsible link “from grass to spoon”.
