Thanks to a family know-how, cultivated since 1910, in the heart of the Santerre region, our company has made the potato a top-of-the-range local product and an exceptional product in terms of taste.
We have endeavored to give back its letters of nobility to this often trivialized tuber by highlighting its multiple varieties. This is how the commercial company was born, in parallel with the farm, to promote our production and that of about twenty other producers.
This passion for the potato is transmitted through gastronomy. We are proud to be part of the Collège Culinaire de France as a Producer of Quality and Local Produce from the Hauts-de-France region and to promote diversity to counteract food standardization.
More than thirty varieties are available in all shapes, sizes and colors, always focusing on taste.
The potato is a universal product that is highly appreciated and deserves to be rediscovered thanks to its many varieties. Gourmets, Professionals, Chefs… we all have a childhood memory (the famous mashed potato and its sauce well), a moment of friendship (friendly raclette) around the potato.
As Joël Robuchon used to say, “potatoes are like vines and grapes”. The notion of “terroir” plays an important role and the nature of the soil means that the same variety will not have the same taste or the same texture depending on whether it is harvested in Laucourt or elsewhere.
This is the strength of our product and the reputation of our region, each terroir gives it a particular character.
We have even updated the Institut de Beauvais variety, one of the oldest French varieties, and developed the Juliette des Sables de la Baie de Somme, a rustic potato grown in sandy soil.
