The appeal of responsible, ecological and healthy food is growing every day, but what about outside the home? What transparency?

The objective is to transpose our small daily gestures (waste sorting, composting, energy consumption, food waste, accessibility, organic food, reading labels, …) to this small capacity restaurant.

In 2021 and at the beginning of 2022 we proposed a projection within the framework of the AlimenTERRE festival, a walk with a Valeurs Parc guide, a visit of our market garden, a cooking workshop… we wish to develop these proposals.

Couple and family living in the Avesnois or more widely in the Hauts-de-France, Belgium, the Netherlands thanks to bed and breakfast

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

A certified concept and part of partnerships:

  • The first restaurant in the Avesnois region to be certified Organic (Ecocert)
  • A network of about 20 local suppliers; Corbière farm, Jardin d’Eugénie, Vergers Bio d’Ohain, Tartine Errante, Beau Pays farm…
  • Recognized by labels : Valeurs Parc Naturel Régional de l’Avesnois, Esprit Hauts de France, Gîte de France 3 épis, Refuge LPO…

We value our producers on our menus and through a menu that represents our ecosystem.

We raise awareness through our actions: visits to producers, eco-gestures implemented (compost, reusable container, 0 waste approach, biodiversity of the place: beehive, chickens, fruit trees, herbs and pickings, vegetable garden, late mowing, bush, …

We would like to offer more regular meetings/visits to producers by bike, walks/picking/picnics.
