After nearly 10 years spent meeting and sharing the most beautiful brewing adventures of our regions, the emergence of a beer route straddling three countries is a form of achievement.
Today, the ten or so beer-route editors, all professionals in the tourism and/or beer industry, have brought together in a single space their favorites, the best addresses and the best products of this area historically linked to beer and stretching from the North Sea to the Rhine.
The brewing industry in these regions, with more than 480 breweries in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, is now more than ever ready to take up the challenge of brewery tourism. A tourism that wants to be more virtuous, more respectful of the environment by promoting a tourism of proximity and all this without ever compromising on authenticity. Because that’s what we want from beer: a real and friendly product.
To sum up, route-bière is to make you see what you are going to drink!

What are the targets?

General public, local and foreign tourists

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

The Route-Bière project, the first media dedicated to brewery tourism, is the gateway to the (re)discovery of the territory through the prism of brewery culture.
Thus, Route-Bière offers to the general public, locals and tourists alike, a resource base, activity sheets and tours that will lead them to the discovery of breweries, but also of local producers located in the historical territories of beer.
The aim of this initiative is to open the doors of the breweries and producers of Hauts-de-France to the general public, to promote a unique regional craft know-how that contributes to the gastronomic influence of the region. Route-Bière, by anchoring concretely the breweries in the regional tourist fabric, participates to integrate them fully in a general beneficial approach for the influence of their products and their know-how.
