The Agglomération du Saint-Quentinois has launched its Projet Alimentaire Territorial in 2021, alongside local food stakeholders and with the support of the Agence de la Transition Écologique.

4 strategic axes are being pursued as part of this approach:

  • PROMOTE AND SUPPORT local production
  • RAISE AWARENESS about healthy, local and sustainable consumption
  • FIGHT AGAINST WASTE at all stages of the food chain
  • PROMOTE EVERYONE’S ACCESS to quality food and combat food insecurity.

This project has initiated the creation of local specialties by local restaurateurs. The aim? Strengthen the region’s food identity, by showcasing local products and artisan restaurateurs.
Numerous events are organized in this context: Semaine de l’Alimentation Durable, Rendez-vous de l’Alimentation, gleanings solidaires…
