2-hour workshops, for groups of 5 to 12 people (flexible service on request).
During these interactive, fun and gourmet workshops, participants will discover what lies behind authentic, local cheese and what makes it so valuable, and will be introduced to tasting “like pros”. The workshop will be illustrated by the prism of cheese from the Hauts de France, and will end with a tasting of 5 little-known cheeses from the region, accompanied by a local drink.
These workshops are led by France, founder of the company Epicéa et Caséine, whose objective is to create a link between cheese professionals and the general public. How? By initiating and awakening cheese lovers to the cheese culture.
France does not have a store, she devotes herself 100% to transmitting and sharing her passion and her cheese culture. She defines herself as a caseologist, cheese mediator or cheese happiness coach !

What are the targets?

Companies and communities that wish to organize animations or workshops for their employees, clients, partners or the public. The workshops are designed for adults but adaptations are possible for children (from 7 years old).

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

Knowing more about cheese means better appreciation and better eating. Discovering why a cheese does not taste the same according to the climate, the vegetation or the breed of cow, understanding the different types of production and their historical roots, making the difference between raw milk and pasteurized milk, knowing how to decipher labels, acquiring the basics to be able to discuss with your cheese maker and better choose your cheese.
