The Route du Malt 2021 proposes a tour of the Hauts-de-France region to discover 7 distilleries and a dozen breweries. This 550km route links Lille, Valenciennes, Noyon, Amiens, Saint-Omer, passing through Arras and Lens.
A dozen hotel-restaurants are partners of this first edition and offer malted moments. Tourists can continue their tasting experiences of Hauts-de-France with beer and food menus, tastings of spirits produced in the region

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?
The discovery of local producers through a tourist itinerary allows us to offer a “turnkey” tourist product to ensure an unforgettable taste experience.
For the next editions, improvements are to be expected, in particular a harmonization of the visiting hours at the producers’. This could be envisaged with support and guidance. Another advantage of this tourist tool is to encourage restaurateurs (and hoteliers) to include the region’s spirits on their menus…
