Created in 2012 by the Syndicat mixte du Parc naturel régional de l’Avesnois, under the impetus of a few restaurateurs and with the support of the Regional Nature Park, the “Restaurateurs de l’Avesnois®” brand now has 5 beneficiaries.

Proud of the culinary identity of the Avesnois, they work and sublimate the local products in order to share with you the flavors of our land.

A “Assiette de l’Avesnois®”, whose main dish is composed of at least 2 local and seasonal products, is offered à la carte, all year long and without prior reservation.

The local producers appear on the restaurant’s menu and are promoted to local or proximity customers (inhabitants, professionals and business people) and to tourist customers.

The “Restaurateurs de l’Avesnois®” network guarantees:

  • The use of local products from the territory of the Avesnois Regional Nature Park through the “Assiette de l’Avesnois®”,
  • A commitment to quality, service and welcome,
  • Information on the Avesnois territory, its activities and its local products.

Classified for a second time as a “Regional Nature Park” in September 2010, the mission of its mixed management syndicate is to implement a sustainable development project based on the preservation, balanced management and enhancement of the heritage and local economic development in close partnership with the inhabitants, managers and users.
