Created in 2004, the innovation contest is organized every two years by the Promotion Committee and Certia Interface in partnership with two engineering schools, Isa and Polytech. It is a regional recognition plebiscite by journalists and buyers. This competition is intended for agri-food companies in the region, farmers diversifying with a product and/or service less than two years old.

After a selection on file by the organizing committee, the finalist products are tested in a sensory laboratory with a jury of professionals composed of buyers from various distribution networks, journalists, professionals in food and innovation, a chef, a blogger sponsor…

The products and services selected as winners are then announced at a major awards ceremony held in October prior to Sial Paris in the company of companies, the press, elected officials and buyers, followed by a buffet to discover the finalist and winning products in mini-stands format.

Winners receive :

  • a video about their company and winning product

  • a roll-up for their future store animations

  • visibility on social networks, in the press and with distribution networks

  • a participation to the Sial Paris on the HDF regional pavilion.

The general public to promote the winning and finalist products.

How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?

The project allows to show the regional dynamism on product or service innovation whose objective is to satisfy the consumer. It also allows us to promote small and medium-sized companies as well as start-ups at the regional level (and even nationally and internationally during the Sial).

All these products are in line with strong consumer trends and expectations by promoting local, eco-responsible or more virtuous products.
