The MiAM is a place of discovery, learning and sharing around food and eating well.
The MiAM is present in Lille and also in other regional branches of the CMA.
Its objective :
- To promote, through culinary experiences and various events, the know-how and skills of the region’s artisans
- Promote organic, sustainable and biodynamic agriculture, respectful of public health and the seasonality of products
- Promote short circuit supplies by encouraging the local economy and social links between producers and consumers
- Reduce food waste and packaging, promote recycling
- Contribute to the food education of the youngest
What are the targets?
- Individuals within the framework of collective workshops
- Companies from all sectors within the framework of federative events
- Professionals of the food industry within the framework of master classes or individualized accompaniments
- Associations and day-care/social centers in the context of raising awareness among young people and the professional integration of people in difficulty
How will your project help promote the gastronomy of the Hauts-de-France region?
- By highlighting the artisans and food professionals of the region: chefs, pastry chefs, chocolate makers, butchers, cheese makers, oenologists, beekeepers, market gardeners, etc.
- By offering thematic workshops on the region’s culinary specificities
- By sublimating the local products during the preparation of the recipes
